I’d like to write a to-the-point bio for simplicity sake. But truth is, I’m not that modest. And I don’t want you to be either. I want to pay homage to my past creations and endeavors. Because truth be told, I am proud as fuck of myself for all I have created, and who I’ve impacted. It’s a part of my story and who am I not tell it?
Here’s the basic bio: I am an entrepreneur, business owner, energy-activator, writer, podcaster, philosophical change-making lightworker. I’m here to bring down change and shine the light in the darkest of corners. I am the founder of Philly Expediting; Philly’s leading permit coordination service, the host of the Epic As F*ck! Podcast, and writer (blogger and aspiring author). I am a Reiki-practitioner and lead energy activation workshop/cacao ceremonies. I am currently passionate about my Transforming Trauma project, which is focusing on bringing trauma-informed tools and education to entrepreneurs and go-getters who are held back by their experiences of traumatic experiences and resulting mental health challenges.
As far back as I can remember, I had an entrepreneurial and creative spirit. A few things in my childhood helped create that identity: including a Dad that never wore a suit or ran off to work for 9am, learning the food truck family business at 11 years old, and getting a trademark for a line of music-inspired boxer briefs called BoomBoxerZ when I was 13.
I graduated from Temple University with a degree in Entrepreneurial Studies. Post college, I built an Electronic Music event production & marketing company called East Side Entertainment that started with an $8,000 loan co-signed by my mom and bootstrapped into a staple brand hosting and marketing events for hundreds of thousands of people. After 6 years in the music business, and following a year-long clinical depression, I emerged and launched a company called Philadelphia Zoning that went from $8,000 in sales to 6-figure brand in under one year.
Other than my entrepreneurial journey, I am mainly here to open up about the trials I’ve endured in my life and how I’ve overcome, and am still, overcoming and healing in order to inspire and help others with similar experiences.
